Do not miss this incredible excursion in Punta Cana, at the beautiful region of Samana, and enjoy its beaches, waterfalls, and Humpback Whales during the season from January 20th to March 31st.
Each year, thousands of humpback whales begin their journey from the cold waters of the North Atlantic to the Caribbean. More than 1,500 of them visit the Bay of Samana, considered by the World Wide Fund for Nature as one of the best places in the world to observe whales.
You will travel in one of our safe and comfortable planes from Punta Cana to the Arroyo Barril airport in Samaná. During the flight of approximately 45 minutes, you can enjoy drinks, snacks, and the incredible aerial landscapes that this tropical paradise gives us.
After landing, you will be transported to the ship that will take you to Samana Bay to enjoy Humpback Whales in the first person. With his majestic presence, his jumps, and his songs you will experience sensations that no National Geographic documentary could match. Undoubtedly a unique experience that you can immortalize with incredible photos to remember.
This excursion combines whale watching with another activity that varies depending on the day of the week.
Monday and Wednesday:
On the way back to the land you will have a delicious typical Dominican lunch and a horse ride to the famous Cascada del Limón, an unforgettable site immersed in the forests of Samaná, with a 52-meter waterfall that falls into a natural SPA ready for your enjoyment.
Friday:
At the end of the whale activity, we will take you to Cayo Levantado or Isla Bacardí, a paradise island surrounded by crystalline waters that combine the magic of turquoise blue and white sand that only in the Dominican Caribbean you can observe, where you will also enjoy a delicious Dominican buffet lunch.
We recommend you bring bathing suits, sunscreen, a camera, and a towel.
